Aims and Mission of the Club

 

Ottringham Community Computer Club [Charity number1094955]

Of the community, for the community, by the community providing resources and opportunities for growth in body, mind and spirit.

Membership is £5.00 year (Jan1- Dec31).

Our Mission:


  • To learn about computer, ipad, Smartphone operations


  • To keep our members informed about our Club's activities


  • To spread news of common interests


  • To be a good neighbour


  • To have fun

 

 

Members are welcome to involve in:

  • Special interests in computer devices
  • Specific computer interest groups
  • Hobbies – gardening, knitting, pets, photography, wood carving etc
  • Social network, coffee mornings etc
  • Charity works or village activities and the Village Committees

Vision

The main premier resource for adults, especially over the age of 18 in the Holderness area. Innovative opportunities will be offered to meet the ever changing interests of members, allowing the Club and it’s participants to remain a vibrant part of the community.

Aim:

To seek people- young and old or disable, to come and spend time on Friday mornings to socialise and meet new and old friends

To learn all devices that is based on computer large, small and very small

To have short sessions on computer skill e.g to email, skype, on-line ..

To have a coffee morning

To interact about your hobbies and interests

To work together with other organisations

To establish, or secure the establishment as a Community Computer Centre and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or person or body)

  •       Volunteers always needed
  •        As it is the nature of a relaxed club, ideas and comments always welcome
